Introduction to the processing principle of glass tempering furnace
The glass tempering equipment heats the flat glass and then quenches it, so that the surface layer of the cooled glass forms compressive stress and the inside of the glass forms tensile stress, so as to improve the strength of the glass and make ordinary annealed glass into tempered glass equipment. Since this tempering method does not change the chemical composition of the glass, it is called physical glass tempering equipment. If it is divided according to the heating method characteristics of the equipment, the equipment can be divided into forced convection heating tempering equipment and radiation heating tempering equipment; if it is divided according to the structure and functional characteristics of the equipment, it can be divided into combined tempering equipment and flat tempering equipment. , curved tempered glass equipment, continuous tempering equipment, two-way tempering equipment, hanging furnace and so on.

Features of the glass tempering furnace
1.Special design of the convection fan makes the high temperature capability more reliable and ensures excellent convection effect.
2.The use of anti-oxidation and anti-deformation heat resistant alloy in inner air circulation system and advanced technology ensure durable performance without distortion.
3.The speed of convection fan controlled by inverter is set by computer, which ensures homogeneous heating for upper and lower glass surfaces , and improves the products quality greatly.
4.The use of anti-air scouring new insulation material (vitrified thermal insulating plate) on the inner surface of heating chamber successfully ensure no falling down of insulation material crumbs from the inner surface.
5.The thermal circulation from the convection fan is inside the oven, so the thermal losses can be reduced greatly.
6.It has strong processing ability and higher efficiency, various kinds of glass can be processed such as float glass, patterned glass, Low-E glass, etc. The minimum E-value can be 0. 02 for Low-E glass.
7.Arc-changing and transmission adopts imported servo system with faster arc-changing speed, higher arc precision and better consistency and repeatability.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of tempered glass?
Advantages
1.The strength is several times higher than that of ordinary glass, and it is resistant to bending.
2. It is safe to use, and its carrying capacity is increased to improve the fragile nature. Even if the tempered glass is damaged, it will be small fragments without acute angles, which greatly reduces the damage to the human body. Compared with ordinary glass, the resistance to rapid cooling and rapid heating of tempered glass is improved by 3 to 5 times.
Disadvantages
1. The tempered glass can no longer be cut and processed. The glass can only be processed to the required shape before tempering, and then tempered.
2. Although the strength of tempered glass is stronger than that of ordinary glass, tempered glass has the possibility of bursting (breaking itself), while ordinary glass does not have the possibility of bursting.
3. The surface of the tempered glass will be uneven (wind spot), and the thickness will be slightly thinner. The reason for the thinning is that after the glass is softened by hot melt, it is rapidly cooled by strong wind, so that the crystal gap inside the glass becomes smaller and the pressure becomes larger, so the glass is thinner after tempering than before tempering. Under normal circumstances, 4~6mm glass will be thinned by 0.2~0.8mm after tempering, and 8~20mm glass will be thinned by 0.9~1.8mm after tempering. The specific degree depends on the equipment, which is why tempered glass cannot be used as a mirror.
4.The flat glass used for construction after passing through the tempering furnace (physical tempering) will generally be deformed, and the degree of deformation is determined by the equipment and technicians. To a certain extent, the decorative effect is affected (except for special needs).
